IVE, one of the most rapidly ascending K-Pop collectives, has officially announced a headline performance set for Sunday, June 16, 2024, titled ‘SHOW WHAT I HAVE’. Embarking on a thrilling 24-date world tour, the group will grace numerous cities across Southeast Asia, North America, Europe, the U.K., South America, Eastern Asia, and Australia next year. Produced in collaboration with Live Nation, the tour commences on Saturday, January 13, 2024.
Formed in 2021, IVE catapulted to immense success with the release of their debut single, ‘ELEVEN’, which not only clinched multiple awards but also set the stage for their subsequent chart-topping tracks. This year, IVE made waves with the launch of their inaugural full-length album <I’ve IVE>, which garnered over 1.1 million copies sold in its debut week alone. Commencing their 1ST WORLD TOUR ‘SHOW WHAT I HAVE’ with two awe-inspiring sold-out performances in Seoul last month, IVE continues to captivate global audiences with their magnetic stage presence.
A brief overview of IVE:
IVE, affectionately dubbed as ‘Gen MZ’s WANNA-BE ICON’, comprises ANYUJIN, GAEUL, REI, JANGWONYOUNG, LIZ, and LEESO. Their meteoric rise to stardom began just seven days after the release of their debut track ‘ELEVEN’ (winner of 13 awards) on December 1, 2021. In April 2022, their second single, ‘LOVE DIVE’ (winner of 10 awards), topped the charts in Korea, while ‘After LIKE’ (winner of 14 awards) solidified IVE's status as a ‘Million Seller’ for the first time. Collectively, these three title tracks amassed 37 award wins across various Korean music shows.
In 2022, IVE clinched the prestigious Best New Artist award for ‘ELEVEN’ and the coveted Best Song of The Year (Grand Prize) for ‘LOVE DIVE’ at the Melon Music Awards. Their accomplishments continued with Song of the Year (Grand Prize) wins at the 2022 MAMA Awards and 2022 Asia Artist Awards, alongside the Digital Song of The Year (Grand Prize) at the 37th Golden Disk Awards and the Best Song Award at the 32nd Seoul Music Awards. Making history at the Golden Disk Awards, IVE swept the Rookie Artist of the Year Award, the main award for Digital Song of the Year, and the Grand Award for Digital Song Division. Additionally, IVE’s Executive Producer and Vice President of Starship Entertainment, Hyun Joo Seo, received the prestigious Producer Award at two award shows.
In 2023, IVE's monumental first full-length album <I’ve IVE> sold over 1.1 million copies in its debut week, with title tracks ‘Kitsch’ and ‘I AM’ racking up 11 domestic awards (‘Kitsch’: 2 wins, ‘I AM’: 9 wins) and dominating various major music charts in Korea. The subsequent album, <I’VE MINE>, achieved ‘Million Seller’ status for the third consecutive time, with title tracks ‘Baddie’, ‘Off The Record’, and ‘Either Way’ scaling the Korean charts with remarkable prowess.
