After being exposed to a sea of concert clips and anecdotes from the US tour all over social media, it’s finally time for European Atiny to live the BREAK THE WALL experience for themselves - and the first stop of the Europe tour, Amsterdam, was worth the wait. One of the reasons why? Three words. Mingi’s. Pink. Hair. Those lucky enough to watch soundcheck got the first glimpse, and the news quickly spread.

Upon entering the venue, instead of the usual playlist of music videos we’re used to seeing pre-concert, we were met with the low hum of dystopian ambience, transporting Atiny to the Strictland, and setting the tone for the opening. A mysterious but familiar voice assured us never to question ourselves. Then, the lights dimmed, and cloaked figures started to fill the stage — the show began with New World, and the crowd went wild.

As expected from the US leg of the BREAK THE WALL tour, ATEEZ brought us a perfectly curated mix of songs from their latest album - including The Ring, Guerrilla, and Cyberpunk (the chair choreo in real life is even more overwhelming than anticipated) - as well as some classics from their previous tour, The Fellowship: Beginning of the End.

Seeing the screens switch between Ateez and Halateez during HALA HALA was an incredible artistic touch, and the surprise addition of GIANT BALLOONS being thrown into the crowd just before Illusion was so exciting — watching ATEEZ and Atiny playfully throwing them at each other was so wholesome and fun - despite a couple of adorable mishaps.

We got to see the cool new features of Lightiny Ver. 2 when Yunho and Mingi (against their will, egged on by Jongho) used their aegyo to change the colour of the lightiny ocean, and the audience really did turn into a light show during every song — it was great to feel like an integral part of the show.

As always, the members’ ending speeches were filled with love and encouragement, and the show ended on a high with The Real — ATEEZ kept their energy up until the very last second of the concert.
