ATEEZ Return to London for a Sold-Out Show @ The O2 Arena

ATEEZ are the fourth K-Pop group ever to headline at The O2 Arena after BTS, SuperM and BLACKPINK - an incredible feat in itself, not to mention that the show completely SOLD OUT.

Last Summer, ATEEZ brought us two incredible shows at the OVO Arena, Wembley for their second World Tour (The Fellowship: Beginning of the End). As their popularity continues to surge across the globe, it was only right that for their third World Tour — The Fellowship: Break the Wall — we would see them on a bigger stage.

Despite a jam-packed London schedule of sightseeing, interviews and more (including a trip to the ‘Hallyu! The Korean Wave’ exhibition at the V&A to be reunited with their Fireworks stage outfits), ATEEZ brought us yet another show full of unwavering energy, passion and fun. And once again, the crowd gave back exactly what they received, with 20,000 voices booming and the entire arena glittering with Lightiny.

With the group first performing to a more intimate crowd for soundcheck, VIP ticketholders had the opportunity to see a more stripped back, casual ATEEZ before they finished getting ready for the main show. The boys sang three songs - Say My Name, Wave and My Way - and playfully chatted to ATINY, asking how long they’d been waiting today and thanking them for their patience.

The addition of an extended stage for their second Europe tour has allowed ATEEZ to interact with and feel closer to many more ATINY during their shows. A perfect balance was struck between hard-hitting choreo-heavy performances like The Ring, WIN and Geurrilla, heartfelt sing-along ballads such as Sunrise and Turbulence, and songs with plenty of opportunity for fanservice, including the rather intense Heat Topping Remix of Fireworks, pre-debut song From, and Illusion - made even more fun with giant balloons.

As always, ATEEZ made a few fun references to the city they were in during the show, turning ATINY’s lightsticks red like a London bus, and then yellow like Big Ben - which of course sparked a rendition of Diamond by Sparkling - if you have no idea what that means, firstly you need to watch Imitation (one of our favourite k-dramas from 2022), and then you need to watch this:

While wrapping up their ending speeches, Hongjoong expressed his gratitude to London ATINY for the opportunity to be able to perform at a venue like The O2, as it’s only possible thanks to the support of their fans. This pride in how far the group have come in such a short time, and the hope and excitement for what’s to come in the future, is yet another precious gift shared by ATEEZ and ATINY, most apparent during these moments of the tour.
